| Hello,
I have a problem thats been driving me nuts for a long while, i hope someone will help me.
My front right speaker is not as loud as the rest. I can definatly notice the difference between that and my front left speaker. I have tryed, uninstalling, re-insatlling, updating drivers. I have also checked all my connections.
I have no idea how to fix this, it maybe that my speaker has a bad wire or is broken but i cant tell. It is impossible to switch my left and rigth around to see if that is the problem. The way these logitech speakers setup it would be impossible.
I have noticed something else. When trying to balance the left and right channels in the 'speaker volume' menu, if i move the LEFT SLIDER down it affects volume for all speakers not just the left side. When i move the right slider it has no affect on any speaker.
***this can be found throught the control panel-> sound speach and audio deviced->sounds and audio devices->speaker volume***
My advanced speaker settings (found in the same area as above) is on surround sound.
Well I have these Logitech 4.1 speakers http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/details&CRID=2&CONTENTID=5045&countryid=2&languageid=1
and a soundblaster live 5.1 soundcard.
Thank you for your time and help.
Cody.

| Hello Cody and Welcome to the Forum!
As I read your question/problem, i am drawn to this quote:

Sorry to ask (if only for the benefit of others) but how long -- since new and if so, does warranty support sound like an option?
For me at first glance (running Logitech Z-640s myself), there is a hardware failure there providing you have all the cabling installed correctly!

| Well warranty will not cover it.
I didnt think it was a hardware problem due to the quote below and that there is sound coming from it.

| Goto control panel - sound settings - tab audio - the first advanced button - from the drop-down list select 5.1 surround speakers
If this is already set this way then I don't really know how to fix it srry.
