| the singular form of mice is mouse...... it just bugged me
i've always been a logitech man myself. the new mx mice are good. the mx700 is a really nice cordless mouse to look at because of the recharging stand. Logitech has a wireless elite keyboard/mx mouse combo now that would be good. if you're a gamer i would stick with corded stuff like the mx500 and elite keyboard. either way with logitech you really can't go wrong.

| yea... i made that post about the f-lock. that's my only problem with that keyboard. basically, logitech has the f keys doing two things. with f-lock on, the f keys function normally. with f-lock off there are shortcuts for things like print, save, undo, redo, my computer, my documents, etc..... my problem is that i like keeping f-lock on because i use the f keys for certain games. it's just realy annoying to be playing a game and as you hit the f keys nothing happens. it's also my fault for forgetting about it.

| Logitech MX700 is reputed to be the best mouse around at the moment.
I have one and it's good
Also have the logitech internet navigator (with cord) and I'm pretty happy with that too. The F-key thing is not really annoyance, but I also sometimes forget to turn it on during games. But that's only my fault !
Would definately look at an MX700 if i were you.

| I believe the MS Intellimouse Explorer v3.0 has a 'lifetime warranty' and I know it has five programmable buttons. I've been using one for two years now and it's sweeeet (but comment offered up with the caveat that I'm not a hard-core gamer, Sega).
Keyboard-wise, my MS Internet Keyboad has taken a beating and has never let me down (don't need any fancy stuff in that area!). 3 years and counting whereas previously, a keyboard every year!
My opinon.

| i think it comes to personal preference. i like logitech... some like ms. go to a store that has mice and keyboards on display and try them out. some mice felt horrible when i held them in my hand and some were very comfortable. what we gave you already is a good starting point though.
