| Batch files have the extension ".bat" and are executable by double-clicking them, just as is the case with any executable file (.bat, .exe, .com).

Hi Allen: When I click the file , all I see is a flash of "commands" on a DOS screen. The screen only appears for an instant. I see the message"The system cannot find the file"!

| Paul I don't like the sound of this, what do you mean batch file that is a video?, can you right click the batch file, select edit, then copy and paste the info here?
Write your questions down on the back of a $20 dollar bill and send them to me.

When I click"Edit" it opens in "Notepad"! I can't copy from notepad.

| Does the file's extension look like this:
moviename.avi.exe
If so....rename the file's extension to avi or mpeg.
It should look like this:
moviename.avi
or
moviename.mpg
