| I believe (in OE) you go to tools > options > maintenance > store folder...type in where you want it stored, click ok.Thats it.

| Jan--
That's only for emails, not the contact list.
William4G--
There's an export function somewhere in Outlook too. I don't have a copy installed right now so I don't know exactly where it is, but if you find the address book (for example: Options -- Address Book) then there should be an option to export it from there.

Your right TC.
In OE click on tools > address book > tools > accounts > export.

| There is an import and export function from the main menu in MS Outlook. It is in File/import and export. That allows you to choose from several formats including dbase, Excel, comma separated, etc. The problem is that none of them work. By that I mean, you can export the contacts but when you try to import back to the other computer, they are not in a format that MS Outlook will recognize. I even thought of exporting to OE and then importing back to MS Outlook. Isn't there an easy way of doing this? |

| Hey William4G, just did it last night and it worked like a charm! I have done the export numerous times to keep my 2 computers up to date. just click on file/import and export/ choose export to a file/ choose Personal Folder File (.pst)/choose contacts (or Personal Folders for everything) check include subfolders/ identifiy location to save the file and check one of the duplicates options/finish. To import just do the reverse. Import from another file or program/ select Personal Folder File/ locate the saved file and select the duplicates option. there you go! It has done a good job for me every time, just watch for duplicates, they can cause problems so I say do not import duplicates. Good luck |
