| Quick question about this WLAN stuff.
I want to setup a Wirless between my Desktop and notebook.
I have already a pcmcia card and pci wired cards and I don't use a router. So my question is, can I buy just two wireless cards (one for the notebook and the other for the desktop)?
I dont have to have a router with wireless do I?

Cheers,
Chris. |

| You don't need a router to connect your PCs. In a small office/home office environment routers are used to share the Internet connection.

| Great, I can still share my internet connection with the wirless (only, the Desktop has to be logged in). I guess thats the only pitfall not owning a router.
Cheers for cleaning that up for me.

| You can use ICS to share. The PC configured for ICS must be left on.
