| When using IE 6, if i dont type 'http://' in front of the normal 'www.tweakxp.com', the status bar says:
'opening page http://vrape.hardloved.com/top/search.php?id=1&s=www.tweakxp.com'
I dont understand. I have tried changing settings and all, but i dont have much experience with XP.
Any help would be appreciated!!! |

| Not an XP problem. Something hijacked your browser. Try running Ad-Aware or Spybot to clean it up.

If still no joy, go to
http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, double-click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.
