| | When my computer boots up it gets stuck on verifying dmi pool data. the cd and floppy drives dont boot. i have a mobile rack(harddrive pullls out), My cousin was on it and he said that he pulled the mobile rack while windows and the computer was switched on. could this be the problem? |

| Sounds like your boot file is corrupt (I've seen it before), use the Recovery Console and repair your boot.ini file.

| | o.k-more info needed. Have you been playing with your BIOS? Trying to overclock or anything of that nature? If so just let me know and i can hook you up. This may sound incredibly stupid but you don't have a floppy in your drive do you? Do you know how to get to your BIOS? Let me know and we'll figure it out!!!! |

| Try this one thing--- go into your BIOS and change the BOOT-UP sequence. That should do the tricvk if not let me knwo and we'll figure it out!!!!! |

| i managed to get into the recovery console, repair the boot file. but when i restart it says NTLDR is missing press any key to restart
