Hi,
I have this small problem which i don't know how to solve it.

Whenever i download a picture file, it will open in flash software programme. This is annoying, i want this picture to open in "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer". Is there anyway to change this?

the easy way:  right click the pic that you want to change, select OPEN WITH, then CHOOSE PROGRAM, select the program you want to open that extention with, and be sure to checkmark [*] ALWAYS OPEN WITH THIS PROGRAM.

that trick never works:  then one more slight complication, xp has added 'preview'  and the winders fax and pic viewer uses this preview before open as the default, i dont understand why.

The harder way: so if that method doesnt work, then you would go to TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS/FILE TYPES (in a explorer window) and find the item that you want to change (jpg for example) and hit the advanced button and change what that extention uses for its associations.

when all else fails:  say so, and sombody can get the registry entry for it , and fix it that way.

OK, so i am Guessing, but i try hard
