| The password is what you configured during the installation. If you forgot it, boot to the GUI and use Computer Management, Local Users and Groups and reset the password to one you'll remember.
You can also force an automatic logon to the RC under Local Security Policy,

| The "Administrator" account is the account in which you are supposed to install everything, as it gives you the most "rights". For regular usage, people are advised to work in a "Power User" or "User" account.
Somewhere toward the end of installation of Windows XP, you were asked to provide an Administrator password. That's the one you need. If you left it blank, then your Administrator account won't have a password and there's a high chance the computer boots up into the Administrator account by itself, without login prompt.
If YOU didn't install that copy of Windows XP on your computer, you're going to have to find out if the Administrator account has a password. Just press Enter when in Recovery Console and see if that gets you any further.

| May I ask what you are Repairing with the RC ?
Are you looking to do a repair install or something like chkdsk ?
