| I originally used "Nero 5" but then switched over to "Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD".
I dont have any problems with either of the softwares that I have used. Its just that I am the kind of person who wants the latest and best software that has to be offered.
Can anyone recommend me what to use and why I should switch over? Nero 6 is suppose to come out and version 5 got pretty good reviews. I want to move away from Pinnacle because I keep hearing about how unstable it is (I dont think I have come across any though). Or you can persuade me to stay with Pinnacle.
I do general data backup, cd audio discs, cd copying, and dvd video, etc. One minor reason why I moved away from Nero was because it doesnt produce the most compatible DVD video discs that I hoped for. Nero 6 might improve though.
Thanks

| I go to dvdrhelp all the time for my video editing needs. I also learned from them that Nero doesnt make the best compatible DVD videos. I was hoping that Nero 6 would improve that.
I would like some opinions on data management concerning burning softwares please.

| I use DVD shrink which is cool for shrinking your DVDs, and then I burn them with nero5, with no problems, perfect backups everytime...

| My friend used Alcohol 120% for ripping things and he was able to match up the correct encryption or whatever was on the CD. That looked like a very good program (I have never personally used it). I have had alot of success with Nero, but recently, Nero's CD-Copy utility has been acting up on me.
