Hi, everybody.

  I'm Lugwrench. I've been here before on my XP-Pro but I've come back with a different computer and OS, and I guess that deserves a new name reflective of my computer skills and general intellectual prowess.

  When I was here before, I had a pretty good new machine with XP-Pro with a direct cable connection. Still got it but now it and some small, older Dell laptops are networked using a Linksys router. Cool. Works great.

   But I know next to nothing about the OS I inherited with the laptops - Win2000 Server.

   Some XP tweaks work fine with W2000 Server and some don't. I would appreciate comments or suggestions from anybody who has tweaked Win2000 Server.

   Right now I'm especially interested in ClearType. The text display is nasty and the XP Cleartype tweak does not work.
