| When I install Windows XP, I create an Administrator password when prompted in the installation process. But when I look at my Administrator account in Windows, I am still required to create a password.Why do I have to do this twice?

| Hi Protocol,
If this is Home edition, I beleive that password you set will be for safe mode and RC only.

| This is the Pro version.
The same thing happens on every install that I have done.

| Bulldog is right, the first Administrator password is the actual Administrator password and the second is the passowrd given to the default user named Owner in XP Home.
