this started couple of days ago..says windows shutting down saving settings then it goes to a grayish blank screen and nothing..the power is still on and i have to manually turn off.. i did troubleshooters with  removing and replacing one by one the processes in msconfig.ive read posts about power mge. and in control panel went to power options but i have no tab that says apm so cant enable, disable whatever.. went to sys.restore and all points i had for this month are gone! i try pressing < to go back to last month..but it doesnt.  someone help.. but not too technical . thanks
