I have a BEFSX41 from Linksys. It shows me with one (1) incoming entry in the firewall log. If I unplug the router and use sygate, zone alarm, or any firewall with a log for that matter....I get over 10 entries in the first 3 min. Is my router not doing its job? This really concerns me.

Do you get the same results if you run your firewall software while the router is in place?

I bet the answer to relder's question is no? This is because a router blocks incoming attacks thereby never reaching your software firewall.
