I am a KAV user and I know there are other KIS and KAV users on this forum - so this is just a heads up.

I have upgraded following the instructions provided by Kaspersky and the only surprise I had was that I was asked to remove Spybot S & D and Windows Defender. I proceeded without removing them and as the installer warned - it removed them both for me before installing KAV 2009.
