| I scanned a book and created a PDF file of the pages. Each page of the book is an image in the PDF. I would like to use Adobe Acrobat Reader to search for specific words in this book; however, given the current format, I can only select parts of the PDF file as if it were an image (not as text). Is there any program out there that would enable me to convert the adobe image PDF file into a PDF file where I can search for individual words? Or, similarly, is there a program that could just "read" all of the words in the file and put them into a word document or something?
Any suggestions welcome!
Thanks! |

| | OK, I downloaded the program, but the when I hit the select text button, the only thing that comes up is to select parts of the image. |

| I can select text with it on Vista. I use the default settings.
