| I am using Vista Premium with all the updates. For some reason or other the WMP has disappeared, there is nothing about it on the Programmes and Features List and a search did not reveal anything. I did find a plugin for Firefox but that was about all. What I can't understand is that I went to download it again and was told there was a newer version already installed and was not allowed to install or repair with the download. I have searched everywhere and now I am at a loss any one have any ideas on how to get a download for the version I mentioned in the subject of this thread.

| Hi Allan
I am still learning Vista, is the file search the one on the programmes menue where it says start search, if so I did do this and it didn't find any file in respect of Windows Media.
