| I was wondering what programs should run in the back ground? I play alot of games and trying to tweak my system for better preformance!! I have XP Pro. I just want the bare miumins. So if some one could tell me what I really need running and tell me where I can turn this sh** off would be great!! |

| In addition to the services, run MSCONFIG and click on the startup tab. The only thing that should be in there is your AV software and firewall software.
