Hello all.  I've currently got my system dual booted between XP and Vista. Lately XP has become somewhat sluggish and i would like to start from scratch. Im aware that dual booting uses the Vista bootloader displaying both OS's. My question is if i enter into the XP setup and delete the XP partition and install. When the XP setup is complete will i everything work as it did before. no double "Earlier Versions Of Windows" enteries ect...

Thank you in advance

Yes it should, but you can download VistaBootPRO and remove XP from the boot manager before eliminating the OS and formatting the drive and then add it back again after the reinstall if you run into any problems doing it your way.

Okay, Formatted and installed XP just fine. Although now when the computer boots, it goes right into XP, it no longer gives me the Vista Boot menu.  I've ran the repair option on the Vista DVD, it said i had a "startup issue" and it did its thing then rebooted. But no change. Am i left doing a repair install of Vista to get it using its boot menu?

Okay, Never mind my last post lol. I figured out how to get it all back. Thanks a bunch Allen for mentioning VistaBootPro, Great program. When into the BIOS, Switched the 2 hard drives around in the boot order, got into Vista and used the program to put it all back.
