Any way to separate MS Access from Office 2003 or Office 2007
While installing though I get the option of custom installation.
I want Access to be separated from this Office 2003 and to be kept as separate installation package.
Please help me.... |

| I don't understand the question. During installation you can choose which apps to install.

| Hi Anil Kumar
I haven't tried this, but I what would happen if you installed Access to its own folder using the custom install function then restart the Office 2003 CD and install the rest of the program doing another custom install to another folder.

| Sounds like you want to copy the Access installation routine to a different CD for other installations. Or maybe you want to create a new CD but leave out the Access part?
Unfortunately, as with most installation you have to follow the menu for the choices, makes it difficult to change that unless one is a programmer.
Looking at the Office 2003 Professional CD shows most of the files are in a compressed .cab format, don't see any way to separate things.

I want the Access part to be in separate CD / Package instead of having it on full complete package of Office 2003.
U would have seen, Visio, project , frontpage comes in separate installer package,
I want the MS Access similar way. |

Visio, Project and FrontPage have separate installation routines because they are separate from the suite of Office applications. FrontPage used to be included in an older version of Offices such as Office 2000 Premium or Office XP Professional but was broken away from the suite with the advent of Office 2003.
