| I bought a Sony Eyetoy from a jumble sale, I have installed it onto a computer running XP SP2, the installation went ok however Device Manager attribute code 19 to the camera.
I have installed both types of drivers but still the same.
Of the two lights, the blue comes on, I have been able to record audio using the app which is bundled with XP as well as using a third party audio recording application but the play back is squeaky.
Anyone successfully installed an Eyetoy onto Windows, have you had similar errors, how did you solve the problem.
I have the Logitech Eyetoy – XP gives it this description when I connect the camera without drivers installed. |

| I tried it on another of my computers and it works ok, it seem the hardware has a problem with my registry.
Does anyone use a freeware registry editor, is it like to solve this problem. |
