| Can't believe it. In XP, using the XP style menus, you can actually run out of room! The All Programs menu doesn't scroll, so once you reach a certain number of installed programs, you can't see anymore of them. They are all there if you change to "Classic Start Menu".
Be interesting to see how people arrange the "clutter" in the start menu or what other tolls are used to help deal with this.

| Either right click taskbar > properties > Start Menu > Start Menu - Customize > Advanced > Scroll Programs
Or organize your programs in subfolders in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs and C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs. What you see in the Start Menu is a combination of these two folders. To access them quickly you can right click the All Programs button and choose Open or Explore and Open All Users or Explore All Users.

| One thing that I always do is to keep the Start - Programs menu well organized and cleared of any redundant listings. I especially keep all the utilities under the System Tools sub-menu.

| I use organized multiple sub-directories with the 'menushowdelay' tweak set to Zero milliseconds. The resulting effect is that I chase the menu across the desktop - efficient for me anyway.
