| Hi Richie,
I did all of the above. When "Load System Services" box is unchecked I can use the Windows R Click copy to thing. I can also use the Cyberlink backup (I uninstalled Nero in case that was a problem). I still can't get the cyberlink program to work but at least it doesnt lock up the computer. Apparently I can use Windows thing but I was hoping I could use a program with compression.
Anyways, I get hung up at the "Windows Is Shutting Down" screen when the "Load System Services" box is unchecked. I had to re-check the box to get back here and I double checked everything. Same errors with the box checked. |

| Download Trend Micro HijackThis 2.0.2 to your desktop:
Double click on HJTInstall.exe,it will prompt you to extract hijackthis.exe to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
When the install is complete,HijackThis will automatically launch.
When the license agreement appears,select "I Accept" and then click on the "Do a system scan only" button.
When the scan is complete,click on the "Save Log" button,then save it to your desktop.
Copy and paste the entire contents of that log into a new topic in the HijackThis Logs forum, not here.
