Hello again,

I have ran all the 10 steps on the laptop that are in the "READ THIS FIRST" section, but unfortunately I dont seem to be getting anywhere. The laptop cant even connect to IE/Firefox, nor can any spyware/antivirus connect for updates even though the laptop is receiving a good connection. Here is the Hijack this log, and super anti spyware log.

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

Welcome

The laptop cant even connect to IE/Firefox, nor can any spyware/antivirus connect for updates even though the laptop is receiving a good connection.

Try the following:
Click on Start/Run,type CMD then press Ok.
At the command prompt copy and paste NETSH FIREWALL RESET then press Enter.
At the command prompt copy and paste NETSH WINSOCK RESET CATALOG then press Enter.
Then type EXIT press Enter again, restart your pc.
Are you able to connect to the internet now.

If you're not, reboot your computer into SAFE MODE using the F8 method.
To do this, restart your computer and after hearing your computer beep once during startup (but before the Windows icon appears) press the F8 key repeatedly.
A menu will appear with several options.
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate and select the option to run Windows in "Safe Mode with Networking".

If you're now able to connect to the internet, please do the following.
If you have previously downloaded ComboFix,please delete that version now.
Download Combofix by sUBs and save to your desktop.
Alternative Combofix download link HERE.
Note
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

Close any open browsers.
Click on Start/Run,copy and paste the following bold text into the 'Open:' space, then press OK [See image below]:
"%userprofile%\desktop\combofix.exe" /killall

Combofix.exe will start, please follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the entire contents of C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running.
That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt unless I ask.
*Note*
In case your Antivirus or any other realtime scanner is displaying an alert after you downloaded Combofix or while you use Combofix, please disable your scanner and redownload Combofix again.
Some scanners may see some combofix related components as suspicious and block or delete them while there's nothing wrong with them.

Also post a new Hijackthis log please.

Hello,

I ran the RESETS in the command prompt and restarted, still no connection. Tried to connect in safe mode, but no improvement there either. Included new Hijackthis log.
