| | Hi there. My sis refered me here, she says you guys are the best. A couple of days ago i started getting loads of pop ups which seem to originate from this thing called outerinfo. I found a file that had attatched itself to my programe so i removed it. I ran spybot and AV but they keep coming back. My comp is virtually non running, Lucky for me we have one upstairs so i can post this. Any help will be much appreciated, I am not very tecchi so need simple instructions. Thanks Sharon...xxx |

Download Trend Micro HijackThis 2.0.2 to your desktop:
Double click on HJTInstall.exe,it will prompt you to extract hijackthis.exe to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
When the install is complete,HijackThis will automatically launch.
When the license agreement appears,select "I Accept" and then click on the "Do a system scan only" button.
When the scan is complete,click on the "Save Log" button,then save it to your desktop.
Copy and paste the entire contents of that log into a new topic in the HijackThis Logs forum, not here.

| | Hi There. When i do a system scan only then press save log, it does not give me the option to save anywhere, it just goes off.. Shall i try the do a system scan and save logfile button. Thanks Sharon |
