Dell Inspiron 531 that previously had Vista on it.

Now Running: XP Pro SP3

AMD64 Dual Core Processor

Monitor: Dell E773s.

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE/nForce 430.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Video drivers but the black border will just not go away. I have also tried going to display properties but to no avail. I am assuming the Video Card is working since it is being displayed properly in Device Manager. I have tried adjusting it through the buttons on the monitor itself as well. I could not find any drivers for the monitor on Dell. I do not know what else to do. Can anyone please help me? I hate seeing that black border.

Does that mean you get the Display Properties to show but adjustments don't work????

Don't forget that monitors will sometimes display differently when different drivers are used, may need to get the monitor's OSD/On Screen Display menu up and make physical adjustments to the size and position of the screen image.
