| I know that Windows Me is totally buggy but one bug that I never expected and really did like was that at one time it enabled me to boot with a 16 million color image.
I didn't do this on purpose,I was just messing with a boot screen program and by mistake selected the wrong image [the 16 million color image] and it booted with this image.
Is there a way to do this or get higher resolution boot screens in XP PRO SP2 ? |

| It's not a bug but a feature.
The resolution of a Display is totally dependent upon the video card/adapter you have in the computer and the drivers/software for it. But then the monitor has to support that setting, most of the last several years do.
Right-click a blank area of the Desktop and click Properties. Look in the Settings tab for what resolutions/settings you can use.
