| | I saw similar post with automatic shutdown problem and error code similar to one i have in my pc before it automatically shuts down. i did run rootkit and rootchk. rootkit didn't detect any infected file however the rootchk saved the log file. I've attached the log file in this message. please look at it and let me know what do i need to do to fix it. P.S This is the message that pops out before pc shuts down "C:\windows\system32\services.exe terminated unexpectedly with status code - 1073741819. the system will shut down & restart.

Click on Start/Run,type SHUTDOWN -A then press OK that should stop the NT Authority shutdown countdown.
Download Trend Micro HijackThis 2.0.2 to your desktop:
Double click on HJTInstall.exe,it will prompt you to extract hijackthis.exe to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
When the install is complete,HijackThis will automatically launch.
When the license agreement appears,select "I Accept" and then click on the "Do a system scan only" button.
When the scan is complete,click on the "Save Log" button,then save it to your desktop.
Copy and paste the entire contents of that log into a new topic in the HijackThis Logs forum, not here.
