| hi all. i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it sounded like the most likely forum. if not, please just have a moderator delete the post.
i've started working on an Alt+Tab replacement for NT/2K/XP systems, but the site i was working with has not been very helpful re: testing. so i thought of you guys and was wondering if you wouldn't mind downloading it, giving it a spin, and then letting me know if you had any problems. the current version is just an alpha test to see if what i'm doing behind the scenes will work for everyone.
so, if you'd like, you can download the alpha at http://www.geocities.com/flipper76108/ . i've also now have a screenshot up of what the next version will be capable of in terms of skinnability. i'm using a different technique than the one used in the PowerToys replacement, so there will be no slowdowns. but it will definitely have some eye-candy capabilities, if you're into that sort of thing.
thanks for reading. oh, and it will be freeware at least and most likely will be open sourced once i get the code cleaned up. |
