| My laptop got a virus/trojan and Ive since removed the hard drive and connected to my desktop. I ran SpySweeper on the hard drive and after deleting all the viruses I installed it again on my laptop. Now it's not letting me open up any programs. The "Open With" box comes up everytime. Also, somehow my windows theme is change to a Windows '98 theme. I need help so if you could I'd really appreciate it. I also have AIM messenger which would be a lot faster to communicate with... my screen name is XTRACKSTAR5X. THank You!!

Copy and paste ALL the following text in the Quote box below into Notepad.
Click on File(in the menu at the top)>Save as../Save as Type: 'All Files' /File name: fix.reg to your desktop.
Then double click on the fix.reg file on your desktop and agree to merge the information into the registry,then restart your pc.

If you're not sure about the above,download/unzip Fix2.reg to your desktop,the file is attached below.
Then double click on the Fix2.reg file on your desktopand agree to merge the information into the registry,then restart your pc.
Download Trend Micro HijackThis 2.0.2 to your desktop:
Double click on HJTInstall.exe,it will prompt you to extract hijackthis.exe to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
When the install is complete,HijackThis will automatically launch.
When the license agreement appears,select "I Accept" and then click on the "Do a system scan only" button.
When the scan is complete,click on the "Save Log" button,then save it to your desktop.
Copy and paste the entire contents of that log into a new topic in the HijackThis Logs forum, not here.
