| like for instance im turning off my computer and at the same time downloading updates if there is available updates. and it will turn off after downloading....

I think that if critical updates are available and you haven't started downloading the updates before wanting to turn your computer off, you will be given the option of tuning off the computer or having the computer turn off after the critical updates have finished downloading.
I know on my computer that option happens automatically.

| When Critical Ms updates are available one gets the yellow shield in the lower right alerting the user of MS updates. Upon shut down instead of the usual options(Stand By, Turn Off, Restart) There is an added option "Download and Install Updates".

| As I understand the question the computer will not turn off until the Installation of the updates has completed. The download [moving of files from one place to another] usually has already taken place by that point.
