Recently, a friend of mine said me,"Hey little boy, I'm so tired with Windows ME,can you install Windows XP professional in my computer?",then  I said, Well, let's go...

Days after, I went to his home and install winxp in his computer (before it had only Win ME), and everything works fine except something...

When I'm going to shut down the computer with common "Start, shut down computer", the computer doesn't shut down!!, it restart... again ..again and again, it doesn't matter how many times I try, the result is the same, however, the computer under ME shut down fine, because it has an ATX tower case, In winXP doesn't work, but in ME works fine!.

Any ideas?

PD:The computer has WinXP and ME at the same time, it is a Celeron 733 Mhz 256 MB ram Mainboard ASUS ...
