| I have a problem whenever I start windows xp, it sends a message of error "invalid boot.ini" and then it says that it'll start up from c:windows, is it normal??, this message was not displayed before, that is my question. Can anyone help me???. |

| Look on your C: drive for Boot.ini it is a hidden system file. Double click it to open it in notepad and paste the contents here. If you have XP on C: it should look similar to this:
[boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
