| Did you uninstall it properly from add/remove programs or just delete it?

| I just deleted it because their was no installer or uninstaller in the folder. I got it off or a DVDGamer cd. I will search my computer for anything with div x in it's name.

| That's your problem, reinstall it then go to add/remove programs and uninstall it properly.

| Well, first off, Adaware and Spybot won't find anything if you have the Free, Non-spyware version. Those programs will only find correlations related to the GAIN package that comes with DiVX 5.0.5 Pro free bundle.
Do what mnosteele suggested. Reinstall from the same source (DVDGamer cd) and then go to Control Panel and Add/Remove. There HAS to be an Uninstall for DiVX, they have always had that option. If not, go to divx.com and download the package from there, then Uninstall.
BTW, what are going to use to watch your movies now? If I may suggest, try out FFDSHOW. "Just Goo It" (google, I mean)
