Im curious becuase I need to know if I can put ads on my website, becuase when I posted the html code for a adsense ad, it remained as html. If anyone here has any experience with 1&1 please help me.

If 1&1 allows it, you should be able to place ads but you usually need to use the link coding provided by the company you want to advertise.
