Hey, I was haing problems with my ZBOARD as it would not enable.  I have a bluetooth mouse and beta SP2.

I was told to uninstall the beta SP2 and that Bluetooth Mouse does not update the HIDClass.sys file.  Once you get the correct one it works fine.

ZBOARD Support told me to go to Microsoft.  I guess they are unable to provide a fix as this is an OS system file. After hours with Microsoft I gave up being put on hold.  Apparently, you have to ask them for HID Driver.

This issue is fixed if you are a MSDN Subscriber and download the new SP2.

What I had to do is copy my HIDClass.sys from another computer to the problem one .  Replace the HIDClass.sys file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers directory.

Hey my ZBOARD work fine now!!!

I am having the exact same problem that you had. What version of the
HIDClass.sys file did you use? I have a few different versions and
can't seem to figure out which one works.

My Zboard no work!
